 Charles Webb was appointed as the JCRA's Executive Director in October 2007, having previously served as the Authority's in-house Legal Adviser since May 2005.
The JCRA is the competition law enforcement authority for the Island of Jersey in the Channel Islands. Before joining the JCRA, Charles had spent the previous seven years as an attorney in private practice specialising in competition law and other complex regulatory matters within the United States and European Union.
Charles is an internationally published author and speaker on competition law issues, both in general and specifically concerning the application of competition law and policy in small market economies. He earned a Juris Doctris with Highest Honours from The George Washington University Law School in Washington D.C. in 1998. |
